This video from oorail.com shows how to carefully repair smoke box handles. The locomotive in this video is the new Hornby P2 TTS Sound which had a small problem with the molding on the smokebox handle. The handle is molded right up against part of the smokebox door detailing, on our P2, the handle expanded and cracked slightly, causing the handle to be turned sideways. This video shows a technique for fixing the handle, would work on other steam locomotives as well.
