Earlier this month you saw the new Hornby Thompson Class L1 '67777' a BR 2-6-4T locomotive running on the layout as part of the 2014 oorail video Advent Calendar (link below). Unfortunately while this locomotive was brand new, it was not properly assembled by Hornby, one of the connecting rods was not properly connected, so rather than just blindly send it back, we did the job that Hornby's Quality Assurance should have done in the first place!!!
