This video from oorail.com looks at the new Bachmann Class 4 Ivatt 2-6-0 steam locomotive 43018 in BR lined black with early BR emblem. This model has the original double chimney which was redesigned to a single chimney following performance problems on the first 50 locomotives. The Class 4 Ivatt was the basis for the BR Standard Class 4. The Class 4 Ivatt was originally designed primarily for medium freight traffic but under British Railways it was also widely used on secondary passenger routes. Under BR it was given a 4MT (mixed traffic) power classification. This review features an updated format we are planning to use for 2014, so feedback and suggestions on this new format are appreciated.
