In this second part of our LNER Teak Coach Project, you will see how we stained / painted an old Hornby LNER Teak coach to produce a more realistic looking wooden/teak finish. Hornby have produced two sets of LNER Teaks, the Railroad versions run about £19.99, while the premium versions run about £49.99. The Railroad versions are identical to the older versions produced by Hornby in the 1970s and 1980s. You can find these on eBay and second hand very cheap. In this video we'll show you how to produce a wood finish that looks a lot closer to the real thing using the Railroad and older Hornby versions as a base.
